Why did Adam and Eve die?---WMSCOG

Many Christians often say they preach the gospel.  However, the core of the heavenly gospel that Jesus came to this earth and sent Himself is very the Passover.  Church of God delivers the same teachings as the early church.  Please come to Church of God and keep the Passover. (Matt.26:17)


There lived a happy couple, Adam and Eve, under the love and protection of God in the Garden of Eden. One day, the cunning serpent approached them. The serpent deceived Eve to eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil forbidden by God. She also gave some to her husband and he ate it. As a result, they were expelled from the happy Garden of Eden due to the sin of disobedience and lived painful lives. And they died in the end according to the words of God.
Even non-Christians will know the story of the Garden of Eden. The Bible says that death came to all people on this earth due to disobedience of Adam and Eve (Romans 5:12.)
Are there any ways to recover life? Numerous Christian churches emphasize faith, shouting “We can be saved as long as we have faith in God! Do you believe?” Of course, we can have the promise of salvation through faith. Then, didn’t Adam and Eve believe in God when they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Yes, they did. Adam and Eve and even their descendents had faith in God. If such insistence that “we can be saved as long as we have faith” is correct, Adam and Eve should have not died and live happily in the Garden of Eden until now. This shows that faith alone does not necessarily lead to salvation.
Adam and Eve believed in God. What didn’t they believe?
They did not fully believe in the words of God: “You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.” They suspected the words of God with their own thoughts such as “Well, that’s not gonna happen. How can I die if I eat from it? It’s good for food and pleasing to my eyes.”
God wants us to have such faith that we can believe in the words of God absolutely, even the part which may not be possible to believe with the human thoughts.  God judges our faith through the “Passover of the new covenant.”
Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:53-54)
So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover… While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (Matthew 26:19-28)
God promised that “those who keep the Passover have eternal life.” What will you do? Are you going to reject observing the Passover with the thought “How can we have eternal life with such Passover bread and wine?”
Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden although they believed in God to the end. Empty shouting such as “I believe in Jesus only” is not faith! It’s no more than autohypnosis. True faith is to believe in and follow the words of God—even something that is hard to believe with the thoughts of men.

Church of God (Witness of Ahnsahnghong) believes Ahnsahnghong as our Savior in the age of the Holy Spirit with the belief in Heavenly Mother.  According to the Bible, God the Father and God the Mother who are the Spirit and the bride are to give us the water of life in this last age of the Holy Spirit.  In order to receive the water of life in this age, we should come toward God the Father and God the Mother. 


No matter how rough the road is

A few days ago, I was waiting for one of the spiritual sisters in a university.  Since it was Sunday, I could see some families for an outing at the campus.  In the meantime, I saw a father with two sons riding their bicycles up.


An older son in front was climbing the uphill strongly and his dad following behind was watching the younger son who was climbing the uphill very strongly.  He looked like around seven or eight years old.

When there found a steep ascent, the younger son stopped his bike and said, “Dad, push my bike, please!”  Then,the father picked up the bicycle and climbed the steep ascent, leading it with his own one.  Watching it, I felt sorry thinking he should have pulled it at least, if it were hard to climb the uphill riding on a bicycle.  I couldn't understand how he could let his dad pull two bikes and that he walked comfortably with empty hands.

 

Through this boy, I could look back to my spiritual life.  From time to time, when we stay in the truth,there comes a time to confront a level road and a steep road.  Unlike the older son who climbed the uphill by himself, the frail younger son even leaving his bike to his father seemed to be just like me. 

 

I used to walk in the path of the gospel with joy, but when I face the road I would not like, then I rather took my responsibility to Father and Mother.

From now on, no matter how rough the road is,I would like to turn my steps of the gospel more strongly

Life that never ends

In the morning, I read an article that really touched me.
An Australian woman delivered twins after 27 weeks. The daughter was born relatively healthy, but the son weighing 2.2lbs, was having difficulty in breathing.
Though the medical team quickly gave first aid, but the child lost its breath and died.
However, the mother and the father didn't give up and asked the doctor for a last chance. She embraced her child and while touching the child’s cheek with hers, the mother breastfed. Two hours passed and something unbelievable happened.

The child, who was supposed to be dead, started moving its fingers.
“Something happened that we can just express it as a miracle. When my son slightly held on my finger, at an instinct I knew that our relationship didn't end.”
The child’s breathe became normal and eventually became healthy. He is growing up healthily like normal children.
Mother’s burning love that revived a heart is truly amazing.

I give thanks to God the Mother who never gives up on us,running towards the way of death.

The Bible prophesies that the last place of salvation is Zion (Micah 4:1; Revelation 14:1.) Therefore, each church insists that it’s Zion while its doctrines vary between individual churches. Where is Zion the Bible testifies about? Zion was originally a name of place in the area of Palestine. Actually, there are people who go to Zion in Palestine with the hope of salvation. However, in the age of the new covenant, Zion does not refer to a limited area of Palestine.

 

Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals [the city where we celebrate our religious festivals: GNT]; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken. (Isaiah 33:20)

 

Prophetically, Zion is the place where we celebrate the feasts of God. In the time of the Old Testament, the sacrifices were offered to God in the earthly Jerusalem. Therefore, Zion where there was the earthly Jerusalem was the place of feasts. However, the center of the feasts of the new covenant is the heavenly Jerusalem.

 

But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly (Hebrews 12:22)

 

Jesus also made clear that we will not worship God in the earthly Jerusalem in the age of the new covenant.

 

“…

Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” Jesus declared, “Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. (John 4:20-21)

Then, where is Zion in the age of the new covenant? In the Old Testament, Zion was the place where the feasts of the old covenant were celebrated. Therefore, in the time of the new covenant, Zion is the place where the feasts of the new covenant are observed. Jesus fulfilled the feasts of the old covenant to the feasts of the new covenant through His sacrifice on a cross. In order to complete, He changed the Passover of the old covenant (when the Passover lamb was sacrificed) to the Passover of the new covenant (when we eat and drink the flesh and blood of Jesus who was the reality of the lamb of the old covenant.) Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the feast of affliction, through the torture of the cross. And He has been raised from the dead and became the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep, fulfilling the Day of Firstfruits. Like this, Jesus fulfilled all prophecies of the seven feasts of three times comprising of the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Day of Firstfruits, the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles, and newly established them as the days of celebrating the Redemption Work of Christ.

 

Churches which do not celebrate the feasts of God as evidenced by the Bible are not Zion. The church that observes the feasts of the new covenant made by Jesus is Zion. The World Mission Society Church of God is the only church that celebrates the seven feasts of three times in accordance with the regulations of the new covenant in the world. Then, isn’t it so clear which church is Zion?

God we have been waiting for — Christ Ahnsahnghong

For everyone, the parents’ blood flows in him. We received life by inheriting the blood of parents. It’s the principle: the Providence of God who saves mankind.
The way to inherit the blood of God dates back to the night of the fourteenth day of the first month in the sacred calendar, 2000 years ago. Jesus, who was God but came in the flesh, directed the disciples to prepare the Passover and kept it together with them. He left a will on the night before He was crucified on the cross and sacrificed Himself on behalf of sinners in order to wash away the sins committed in heaven.
And he [Jesus] said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. (Luke 22:15)
Jesus made a will by eating “something.” That was the Passover bread and wine. Jesus said that the Passover bread becomes His flesh and the Passover wine becomes His blood. He executed what he said earlier: “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life.”
God promised that those who keep the Passover will be protected from disasters and also have the forgiveness of sins.  In the time of the Old Testament, the Israelites celebrated the Passover by putting the blood of the lambs on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they ate the lambs. Now we just need to eat and drink the bread and wine which stands for the flesh and blood of Jesus to keep this feast.
Regrettably, people broke the promise. Moreover, they even reneged on their pledge with God — through the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD.  Since then, no one could have inherited the flesh and blood of God.  The Passover was totally forgotten from people’s minds for over one thousand years. This is why God should come again.
On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine–the best of meats and the finest of wines….  In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.” (Isaiah 25:6-9)
“The aged wine” means that the wine has not been used for a long time. That is, the Passover had not been celebrated for a long time — for more than 1,600 years. While no one even imagined that we must keep the Passover to become the children of God, it was Christ Ahnsahnghong who taught us the Passover.
Unfortunately, over 1,600 years, people had a wrong recognition that it is heretic to celebrate the Passover. Yet, the truth does not change: we must keep the Passover to have eternal life.

Please come to Church of God (witness of Ahnsahnghong) that believes Father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother, the Spirit and the bride to get the eternal life and the salvation through the Passover the New Covenant.

90- year-old old mother and 70-year-old son

There lived a 70- year-old son who always carried his mom on the back every day.  For his mom who lost her leg in a car accident, the son carried his mom on his back and went everywhere in the neighborhood every day after work.

When he was asked by a reporter if it was not hard to take, he said, “Comparing to my mother who suffered so much to raise me up, this is nothing at all.” And he even talked more briskly just like a feather.  This son tries to make her happy, showing off his muscles and doing cute things like a little kid.  When his mother got asleep and the covering was about to finish, he called the reporter quietly.  Handing over the hot patch, he asked the reporter to put it on the back where he couldn't reach.  He didn't even show he put the hot patch on the back, thinking if she would worry.

Asking to myself if I have ever been nicer to parents, I couldn't really answer it confidently.  Comparing to this son old enough to get filial duty from his children, who rather concedes his back to his mother, I felt ashamed myself.

Our Heavenly Mother who sacrificed Herself throughout Her life and suffered so much….In spite of the very precious mission to preach the gospel with all my heart and mind, I just want to ask myself whether I was only a child who just has troubled Her.  Since heaven is the place where we cannot do filial duty to Mother, I will do my best to please Her as long as I stay on this earth.

Behind the joy of birth

Leaving a month for the due date,holding my huge belly, I acutely feel more about God the Mother’s love and sacrifice.

Those who experienced labor will know that it actually becomes painful when the time approaches for delivery.

When the belly’s size grows and the due date approaches, you gain up to 22 to 44lbs which giving you a hard time to just walk for a while. Your hands, feet and legs swell that makes you to sleep fitfully, and you wake up many times going in and out of the restroom, which is impossible for you to fall fast a sleep.

As the time of the prophecy approaches, through my labor, I realize a bit of Mother’s hardship that She would be enduring.

Of course the child will go through hardships after it is born.
When I had my first child, I remember his head was contorted. Being born must be painful as if one’s joints were shattered. But if you give up because of that pain, not only the child, but the mother’s life will also be critical.

You must endure ten months for the day when the child comes out and smiles to the mother.
I guess one can endure the pain of labor because of that day.

When my elder child sometimes pesters me to play with her, I get angry at her without holding my temper. Then, after she runs an errand she asks, “When is my sister coming out?” thinking that she is commendable, I imagine that it would be very nice having the whole family harmoniously getting along together after the baby is born.

Looking at my eldest child, I feel sorry for Heavenly Mother since I myself look exactly the same. It would be insufficient even though I try to help her, but I rather whine and pester. God the Mother would endure all those hardships thinking of the day when the whole family reunites.

“For a long time I have kept silent, I have been quiet and held myself back. But now, like a woman in childbirth, I cry out, I gasp and pant. (Isa. 42:14)”

I will always remember that Mother’s pain exists behind the joy of new life being born, and I want to be a mature child who helps Mother.
Thank You Mother for delivering me with Your love of sacrifice, enduring all the pain. I love You.

Why did You wear the clothes of a sinner

and come to this earth

for this sinful child full of faults?

Mother

For what are these sinners to You

that You give us love that is deep and broad like the sea,

and give us the courage

becoming the resting place for our souls?

Oh, Mother

I earnestly shout to You

I love You

I thank You

I love You eternally

This is a poem written by my eldest daughter who is in the 5th grade, after the recent third day worship.

The sermon of that day was about ‘Mother’s love.’ I guess with a child’s mind she was touched, and when we got home, she wrote this poem with colorful pencils.

Reading this poem, I felt that a child’s love towards Mother is as deep as the grownups’.

My eldest child is my little gospel assistant.

She usually practices the teachings of Mother and greets people in a loud voice with a smile.

When the elders praise her, she smiles and says to me that God will also be happy about it.

She cannot work for the gospel since she is still young, but it was lovely seeing her efforts practicing the smallest things that she can afford.

She quickly wants to become a part of the student members so that she can bring friends to Zion, and tell them about God the Mother.

When I couldn't possibly stop home once in a while, she feeds her eight year old sister and takes her to the institute.

When I am exhausted with the hot weather, she plays the piano; the new song, for me.

I didn't do anything for my child.

I am just thankful to God the Father and God the Mother, making my child to realize and practice the teachings of Mother by herself.

I also thank God for filling up my lacking areas through my child, and for giving our family such a great blessing.

I will repay for God the Father and God the Mother’s grace by practicing the teachings of Mother with a thankful mind.

Mother thank You. I truly love You.

Only Bright Smile Must Appear on Mother’s Face

When the mother and the child were passing by a candy shop, the child started pestering,

“Mummy, I want candy. Candy!!”

“No. Since mommy’s got no money, I’ll get you next time.”

“Candy!! Candy!!”

Without concerning her words, the child kept on insisting.

The mother’s face hardened.

Once the child pestered, she wouldn’t stop.

“Mommy said, I got no money! Stop pestering!”

“Waahhh!!!”

The child sadly cried after getting a spank on her butt.

Sensing her mother, the child stopped crying.

Though the child stopped crying, the mother started to cry..

“Mummy. Don’t cry…”

The child wiped the mother’s tears with her hands and cuddled in her mother’s arms.

After few days, the mother and the child passed by a toy shop.

Feeling sorry for the last time, the mother asked the child.

“Have anything you want me to buy for you?”

“No Mummy. After you’ve got a lot of money you can buy me one!”

Considering the child’s age, she should have behaved like a child.

But the child already became mature, which made the mother feel bad.

After that very day, the child never asked her mother to buy something for her.

Not even once…

Though I can barely remember that incident, my mother always wipes her tears whenever she tells me about that day.

During hard times, I can imagine how heartbroken she must have been not being able to buy even a candy or a small toy for me.

Though ten years have passed, she must have regretted so much because she moves into tears whenever she talks about that day.

The painful memory engraved in my mother’s heart makes my heart feel bitter.

“Mother, don’t cry no more.

I am a happy person who grew up with your love, and that love retains in my heart.

I earnestly hope that only bright smile can appear on your face.”

5:00AM - Rise, take shower, makeup

6:00AM - Prepare breakfast and lunch

7:00AM - Wake my husband and children, pack lunches

7:30AM - Give dietary supplements to husband and children

8:00AM - Wash dishes, tidy up kitchen

9:00AM - Do laundry, clean up the house

10:00AM - Go to work

5:00PM - Buy groceries after work

6:00PM - Cook dinner

6:30PM - Prepare supper for my husband

7:00PM - Prepare supper for my daughter coming home from school

7:30PM - Prepare desserts

8:00PM - Wash dishes, clean all the mess, prepare ahead for lunch tomorrow

9:00PM - Fold and iron clothes

10:00PM - Prepare late snack for my eldest daughter coming home from work

11:00PM - Wash dishes, Have conversation with my children

12:00PM - Cleanup the filthy bathroom and organize laundry

1:00PM - Finish arrears of work, keep household accounts

1:30PM - Bedtime

This is Mom's 24 hours.

Though I try to imitate what she's doing, I can never get close.

365 days, every day, for 24 hours, she works for the family.

Every day, for 24 hours, every year for 365 days, for 6,000 years,

Heavenly Mother works for us.

Child’s Pain

I received a call from my child’s school that she hurt her finger.

I got that call during my doctor’s appointment.

As soon as I hung up, I postponed my appointment and frantically ran to her school.

Worrying about my child, I forgot how sick I was.

Before even asking how my child was, I hugged her and cried.

While getting her finger treated, she was in so much pain that she trembled her whole body and grabbed my hand tightly.

It was heart-rending.

I wish I could be hurt instead of her, because it wasn’t easy for me to see my child in pain.

After I was relieved when her treatment was finished, I noticed that my whole body was all in sweat, and my face was covered with tears.

Wiping my trace of tears, I thought of my Heavenly Mother.

When I was in pain, Heavenly Mother must have felt much more pain than the pain that I had to go through.

I earnestly give thanks for Her infinite love.
